Tsunoda Stylings is a start-up company that strives to create successful, responsive websites that are fast, easy to use, and built with the best techniques. At Tsunoda Stylings, we search for new talent to develop their portfolios via paid-per-project remote work! Not too long after we opened our doors, we received a request from a young developer and content writer looking to enhance her skills.
Her name is Yui Iida, and she is a Japanese native who has been self-studying while living abroad for the last seven years. Read more below to learn more about her and what she plans to accomplish during her time here at Tsunoda Stylings.
Jasmine: "Hello Yui, could you please introduce yourself to the readers?"
Yui "Hello! My name is Yui Iida, from Osaka, Japan, and living in Germany now. I worked in the fashion industry in Japan and moved to Europe in 2016. Now I am a self-taught developer and still learning a lot every day."
Jasmine: "When did you start applying for coding and content writing jobs?"
Yui "I started at the end of the year 2021, luckily Jasmine gave me a chance and I already started working from January 2022!"
Jasmine: "You were working in fashion design for a while before transitioning to this new field. Why did you decide to start studying coding?"
Yui ""I was working in the fashion industry for a long time but faced problems finding a job here in Germany without speaking fluent German, also because of Covid. I was thinking about changing my career for a very long time and I noticed that I always wanted to learn coding in my mind since I love creating things. Also, It would be great if I can work anywhere I want, in Germany, Japan, or somewhere else."
Jasmine: "What made you apply for the job opening at Tsunoda Stylings, and how do you like training so far?"
Yui "From the moment I saw the job opening at Tsunoda Stylings, the cute logo caught my eye. (haha) And I read on the website and I really empathized with Jasmine. And of course, I have a lot of fun!"
Jasmine: "That is so kind! Thank you! I wanted to start this company to help many kinds of people, whether it be new employees who need experience or clients who are on a budget. Everyone should be treated fairly regardless of their situation. So what do you like most about being a developer?"
Yui "I like seeing how tiny details change when I fix codes."
Jasmine: "What do you find most challenging about being a developer?"
Yui ""Mmm… it is probably the time when I have a problem which I have no idea of the error and can not find any solution by googling."
Jasmine: "What do you hope to accomplish while working with us?"
Yui "I would love to improve my skills and learn a lot more by working with many teammates from all over the world!"
Jasmine: "What advice would you give to anyone wanting to become a web developer/designer or content writer?"
Yui "Just try whatever you want, today is the youngest day in the rest of your life! This is what I always try to keep in my mind as well."
